New Legislation

See below for some of the most recent pieces of legislation affecting the activities of the Recorder's Office:

1)	New ORC statute doubling the fees Recorder's charge for recording and for services;
2)	New ORC statute eliminating Registered Land Owner's Duplicate Certificate of Title books;
3)	ORC statute changing the requirements for witnesses signatures on real estate documents;
4)	ORC statute making provisions for the expungement of separation program codes and/or social security numbers from soldier's discharges filed in the County Recorder's office;
5)	ORC statute requiring a county Recorder to record any restrictions on the use of property identified pursuant to the State Fire Marshall's rules regarding corrective actions for releases from petroleum underground storage tanks;
